Description:
This position will be responsible for developing technical training curriculums and programs that enable customer and technical service representatives to provide world-class support to OpenText customers who require assistance via phone, chat, or email.
You are great at:
- Building training curriculums and creating training videos for technical and non-technical subjects.
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of course content.
- Quickly learning new technologies and products
- Working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop content, ensure alignment & engagement, and deliver expectations to management
- Continuously enhancing instructional design skills
- Providing feedback to peers
What It Takes
- 2+ years of experience preparing online training courses and support materials using Articulate or similar software
- Proficiency in multiple development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and Camtasia.
- Understanding of ADDIE, adult learning principles and brain-based learning philosophies and methodologies and familiarity with training environments and blended learning applications
- High degree of comfort with complex technical environments
- A track record of good judgment and decision-making in positions with significant responsibility
- Highly autonomous and able to independently drive high value projects to completion
- Demonstrated leadership capability in cross-functional team environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
