Corporate Receptionist

 

Description:

Performs a variety of reception duties for head office such as greeting visitors, advising appropriate staff of visitor arrivals, and signing visitors in and out and directing them to various locations.

 


Operates central switchboard for TransLink and Coast Mountain Bus Company, answers and routes telephone calls, takes messages, and provides routine information to enquiries.

 


Performs a variety of clerical duties including stuffing and labelling envelopes, and typing various forms and instruction notices.

 


Performs administrative tasks relating to the corporate office vehicle pool.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:

Grade 12 graduation or equivalent, including successful completion of courses in word processing.

EXPERIENCE:


Requires three (3) months previous related reception experience in an office environment, and up to three months in the position to become familiar with the TransLink environment, its customer services, and the nature and sources of information required by most visitors and callers.
