Duties:

Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Marketing Coordinator supports community awareness for municipal programs, events and services. With a primary focus on recreation, culture and economic development, the Marketing Coordinator prepares audience-specific strategies for a wide array of initiatives and maintains a client-focused approach in supporting public projects and the unique needs of City departments.

Duties

  • Create and sustain public awareness of programs, events and services provided by the City of Lloydminster through the development and implementation of detailed marketing and communications strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with internal clients to develop effective marketing and communications strategies.
  • Produce and refine materials for public presentation; examples include seasonal program guides, signage, brochures, website content and social media promotions.
  • Review, monitor and update the City’s website and social media content.

  • Other related duties as required.

Schedule:

The position is office based, normal working hours are between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with the occasional requirement to work outside these standard hours.
