Description:
You will be responsible for ensuring that the goals, objectives, and overall policy of the Indigenous Prenatal Nutrition program is adequately met. To provide a nutritional program that identifies the needs of at risk pregnant women and to provide support to improve the health of Indigenous mothers and their babies up to six months of age that live off reserve.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Social Services
• Self identify as being First Nations, Metis or Inuit
• Experience in counselling and crisis intervention.
•Knowledge of historic and current forms of colonialism, systemic discrimination and barriers facing Indigenous communities
• Vulnerable Sector Check must provide a clean VSC.
