The Coordinator, Total Rewards & Performance supports the development, execution and maintenance of all compensation and benefit activities for Holt Renfrew. Providing extraordinary service to internal clients by administering programs, the Coordinator, Total Rewards & Performance upholds data integrity through timely responses to queries and escalations.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Administer and oversee the ongoing maintenance of Total Rewards programs or processes, including:
- Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP)
- Annual Merit Cycle
- Vendor Incentive Processing
- Sales Contest Processing
- Commission Programs
- Job and Market Evaluation processes
- Benefits & Wellness Programs
- Employee Perk Programs
- Discount program
- Support Absence Management (including Leaves of Absence and Short-Term Disability)
- Retirement Savings Programs i.e. Pension/RSP/TFSA, including coordination of annual sessions
- Annual performance cycle
- Be the first point of escalation regarding sensitive employee matters related to Total Rewards; respond in a timely and accurate manner
- In partnership with the Analyst, Total Rewards coordinate the communication, training and program reviews of Total Rewards activities across the organization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams and external third party vendors to ensure alignment on Total Rewards programs
- Coordinate project/event/initiative implementations including progress monitoring, development of launch materials, communication and results tracking
- Identify and recommend opportunities for the improvement of processes and program performance
- Document all processes related to the administration of Total Rewards programs
- Participate in external survey and information sessions on Total Rewards programs
- Update and maintain accurate/current employee data within applicable Human Resources systems
- Participate in the updating and distribution of Total Rewards internal program materials and policies
- Other duties and projects as assigned
The ideal candidate:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Management
- 1-2 years of post-university work experience (previous experience in Total Rewards considered an asset)
- Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player who is able to act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required
- Highly service-oriented with confident and effective communication (written & verbal)
- Effective time management, problem solving, planning and organization skills
- Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
- Ability to manage competing demands, and operate through focus, self-direction, initiative and sense of urgency to see projects through to completion
- Passionate about fashion and luxury retailing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
