Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Marketing Manager and Executive Team to concept creative ideas that result in effective and breakthrough communication to support business goals
- Research, concept, write and present copy and content ideas for a wide range of online and offline marketing materials, including press releases, emails, digital ads, social media, blogs, websites and print collateral
- Identify, develop and maintain a unique, consistent tone of voice for GuardMe and our service offerings
- Create and maintain brand consistency by ensuring that all communication supports and strengthens the GuardMe brand across all departments
- Responsible for ensuring that writing is always accurate for correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, adhering to the English language with strong attention to detail
- Learn about and understand the content-writing needs of each team to develop well-written, relevant content and messaging
- Demonstrate strong prioritization and time management skills, adhering to tight timelines while juggling several projects concurrently. Implement last minute changes as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative content ideas
- Maintain an editorial calendar by scheduling due dates and tracking content through the editorial process in addition to communicating timelines to all stakeholders and project leads to ensure all moving parts are accountable
- · Demonstrate creative thought leadership by keeping ahead of trends and providing proactive inspiration and recommendations
- Ability to write RFPs, create templates, and edit & review for consistency and accuracy
- Collaborate across departments to support additional content writing requirements as needed
- Read, acknowledge, and comply with all policies and procedures of the organization.
- Attend privacy and security training during onboarding process as well as annually thereafter.

- Qualifications:
- 6-9 years experience as a Content Writer, preferably in the education and/or insurance industry
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Creative Writing, Marketing or Communications
- Expert written and verbal communicator, with the ability to articulate abstract creative concepts
- Open to feedback and revisions
- Demonstrated ability to not only provide out-of-the-box creative ideas, but also focus on copywriting and storytelling
- Very strong English language writing skills, understanding of spelling, grammar, and punctuation rules
- Experience with writing RFPs, editing and supporting the preparation of presentations
- Well versed in Adobe Products including Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Knowledge of Adobe Express is an asset.
- Strong grasp of industry culture, with a keen understanding of what is relevant and an eye for upcoming trends
- Expert level understanding of platforms and social media best practices, with experience in social-first production
- Professional, yet creative and flexible to perform well and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
- A strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize
