Description:
As a Social Media and Content Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in developing and executing social media strategies and content marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the marketing team to enhance our brand visibility, engage our audience, and create compelling content that reflects the essence of Readymade and our clients.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Assist in managing and curating content for various social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok X, Facebook, etc.).
- Create and schedule engaging posts, stories, and updates to build brand awareness and increase follower engagement.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and customer feedback.
Content Creation:
- Develop creative and visually appealing content for social media and marketing campaigns. There will be a focus on website blog and case studies.
- Collaborate with design and photography teams to produce high-quality visuals and multimedia content.
- Write compelling copy for social media posts, blog articles, case studies and other marketing materials.
Community Engagement:
- Foster relationships with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content and participation.
Campaign Support:
- Contribute to the planning and execution of social media and content marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns, providing insights for improvement.
Content Calendar Management:
- Assist in maintaining an organized content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
- Coordinate with various teams to align content with marketing initiatives and client launches.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must reside within the Greater Toronto Area and have availability to be in Toronto at least once bi-weekly to gather pictures/videos on-site.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design or a related field.
- Passion for social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.
- Graphic design skills and proficiency in creative tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
