Description:
You will be joining the Optimization & Process Engineering Team, within Technology, Innovation and Infrastructure. As a Consultant, Process Engineering, you will identify and execute process improvement initiatives across our bank. The successful candidate will report to the Director, and work with our business partners to find improvements that will help the business unit reach their objectives through various means such as process improvements, digitization solutions and capacity management.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How You’ll Succeed
- Management – Use process engineering methodologies and project management to work on projects and initiatives. You will work with team members to set goals and guide and motivate teams to reach those goals. You know how to make things easy and can monitor meetings with large groups (10+) of stakeholders (with varying opinions) to reach desired outcomes. You will work with others within Process Engineering and across CIBC to reach common goals and promote good relationships among team members.
- Problem Solving – You can solve problems and organize work. You can study data/situations fully and accurately to guide or reach effective decisions.
- Task Achievement – You know and understand Project Management tools, methodologies and principles and can plan, prioritize and organize work based on available resources.
