Consultant, Application Support

Description:

You’ll be joining CIBC’s Commercial Banking and Payments Technology. You’ll be providing production support for the web and mobile applications for commercial clients. As a production support specialist, you’ll triage, investigate and solve production issues through code fixes. Maintain stability of product environment through continuous improvements and adhering to ITSM procedures (incident management, change management, problem management. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview

How you'll succeed

• Design and development - Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.

• Maintenance - Ensure application stability through incident, change and problem management

• Strategic planning - Ensure application stability through incident, change and problem management

• Leadership skills - Act as tech lead and ensure timely delivery of the projects besides ensuring Production stability. Support and mentor Junior and intermediate developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.
