Description:
The Consultant will play a critical role by supporting the Senior Manager/Director in providing expert guidance and support to clients and driving the successful implementation of projects. This includes working independently and in a team environment to support project objectives, timelines and budgets, and ensuring that key project milestones and deliverables are met. Overall, your strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to build relationships will contribute ensuring successful outcomes and driving the overall success of Mokwateh. Key responsibilities include:
· Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the corporate sector, Indigenous businesses, not-for-profits, and academia.
· Collaborate with the Partners and other senior leaders to develop and implement project management strategies.
· Take a proactive role in overseeing the coordination, scheduling, and project planning on a diverse portfolio of projects.
· Demonstrate your expertise of Monday.com by ensuring project deadlines are on track and client expectations are met.
· Showcase your organizational skills by managing all project-related documents on the SharePoint platform, guaranteeing easy accessibility and enhanced efficiency.
· Contribute to the success of our initiatives by overseeing the preparation of timely client project status updates and project milestone reports.
· Maintain open and clear lines of communication with clients and internal team members, actively providing updates and addressing any concerns to ensure a smooth and successful project lifecycle.
· Monitor industry trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and make strategic recommendations to enhance company performance.
· Contribute to business development efforts by supporting the development of proposals, pitches, and project budgets.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
· Support the development and implementation of engagement strategies to foster positive relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, clients, partners, and the community.
· Support the design and implementation of engagement strategies that prioritize inclusivity, diversity, and respect for all perspectives.
· Support the development and execution of strategic communication plans to support engagement efforts and amplify key messages to diverse audiences. Utilize various channels, including traditional media, social media, newsletters, and community forums, to effectively reach stakeholders.
· Support the development of clear and compelling communication materials to support engagement efforts.
Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Economics, or Social Sciences; advanced degree preferred.
· Proven experience in a consulting and project management role, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate client requirements into actionable strategies and solutions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
· Strong project management abilities, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines
· Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs in a fast-paced environment.
· In-depth knowledge and experience in particular industry sectors, ideally related to Indigenous communities and Economic Reconciliation
· Proficiency in conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing high-quality reports and presentations
· Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
· Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of Indigenous communities, their history, and cultural context
· Previous experience working remotely or in a flexible work environment is a plus
