Description:
The Security & Compliance Coordinator will work closely with the IT and Security team, as well as other stakeholders across the organization to assist in maintaining and developing appropriate policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain and scale the organization’s overall security posture.
Responsibilities:
- Security compliance programs, policies and procedures (SOC2, ISO27001, etc)
- Data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc)
- Vendor risk assessments, remediation and mitigation
- Customer security questionnaires and related requests
- Assist the security operations center with threat detection and response
- Incident response
- Security training and awareness
- Stay up-to-date on security trends and best practices
Qualifications:
- Experience working in information security
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
- Experience with security policies, procedures, and standards
- Experience with security tools and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
