About the Role

The Communications Coordinator role is mainly responsible for managing and administrating Diversecities’ social media platform and website according to the organization’s communications strategy, leading event planning processes, and ensuring that our clients, stakeholders, and the whole community is able to communicate with our team in an efficient and timely manner.

  • This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and eventually supervises volunteers and practicum/summer students.
  • This is a hybrid position; however, the selected candidate must be able to attend in-person weekly meetings. This role will occasionally require attending outdoor events and activities.
  • The regular operational hours for this role are Monday to Friday from 9 a to 5 pm. However, some afternoons and weekends might require based on the program’s activities.
