CEL is looking for a creative, driven and collaborative Communications & Marketing Specialist to join our Team. In this role, you will help advance the CEL brand by creating elevated marketing materials, assisting with the coordination of winning proposals and maintaining CEL brand presence externally. Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the delivery of high quality, on-time, effective proposals, qualifications packages and client presentations in partnership with proposal team.
- Monitor bid search sites - Merx, Biddingo, Bids & Tenders, BCBids, Alberta Purchasing and Ontario Tenders - and provide opportunity information to proposal team for go-no go decision.
- Maintain library of resumes, project profiles, proposal content, presentations and project photos.
- Proactively update and ensure internal and external documents adhere to CEL branding standards.
- Update website contents and create social media posts promoting CEL on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook accounts.
- Collaborate with business development lead to maintain opportunity database and CRM in company ERP system.
- Corresponding with external communication and marketing partners on opportunities and proposals.
- Participates in proposal debriefings for continuous quality improvement processes.
- Support teams by preparing materials for in-person, hybrid, or virtual meetings for internal and external audiences.
- Attend industry functions to promote CEL brand and develop external relationships.
The Skills and Knowledge You Bring
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, English, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in AEC industry with understanding of mechanical and electrical consultant services.
- Strong writing skills for proposals, requests for pre-qualifications, and pursuit opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, is required.
- Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Collaborates well with team members and also works well independently.
- Possess a willingness to learn and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Works efficiently within deadlines and effectively manages priorities.
