Steers Insurance Limited has an immediate opening in our St. John’s office for a Technical Support person within our Commercial Contracting and Surety Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of supporting a small dynamic team in a fast-paced, insurance office environment.

While preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience and who are currently licensed by the province of NL to work in our industry, these are not required. Any applicant selected will be guided, trained and supported while getting the required licensing.

Our minimum expectations for the successful candidate include a high level working knowledge of MS Excel and Word, an active interest in learning, a keen eye for detail, and an understanding of the importance of doing your work to a high standard of practice.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The compensation package includes a comprehensive employee medical plan, a pension plan, generous time off allowances, and other benefits for discussion during the interview process.
