Based at the Gramson Center, this position is dedicated to empowering students by providing access to educational resources and career development opportunities. We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable staff to support Fort Vermilion School Division students in various student-centered programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic support to students, assisting them with coursework and study sessions.
- Support students in building career-related skills, such as resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
- Utilize technology for educational and career development purposes.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.
- Contribute creatively to the development of new educational resources and career programming.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong ability to work with youth, with a focus on building positive relationships and fostering engagement.
- Proficiency in using technology to support learning and career programming.
- Flexible and creative thinker, able to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- Passion for education, youth development, and career services.
- Experience working with students or in educational settings is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
