For this role’s duty and responsibility we anticipate that you will be in the office 25% of time.
A Day in the Life:
- Review customer aging for dilinquent accounts
- Conduct collection calls, investigate/resolve disputes, and monitor for credit holds
- Prepare customer statements and account reconciliations
- Work closely with Sales and Sales Enablement teams for customer on-boarding and maintenance
- Credit analysis of customer credit worthiness using various credit reporting tools and resources
- Bi-Weekly meetings with Account Managers and Business Development Managers
- Weekly team meetings to review collection status and credit approvals
- Updating trackers and dashboards using google sheets
- Adhoc reports and functions as needed
What You Bring to the Table:
- Previous credit & collections experience of at least 2 years
- Experience with reading and understanding financial statements related to credit worthiness
- Accounts Receivable experience including month-end close procedures and journal entry process
- Exceptional problem solving and customer service skills
- Credit Institute of Canada certification (CRSP / CCP) or NACM Professional Certification / Education an asset
- G-Suite skills an asset
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) a must
