Position Details
Direct Accountabilities
Azure and Microsoft 365 Administration -
- Manages and supports the Azure environment including our Microsoft 365 integrated solutions.
- Monitors Microsoft Office 365 services health and resolves issues.
- Tracks and escalates incidents with Microsoft technical support.
- Provides input on the development of training and resources for end-users on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, Outlook etc.)
- Provides training and support and troubleshooting to the ITS, CTLI, and Identified Support teams or people on Office 365 and SharePoint Online.
- Troubleshoots various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility.
- Monitoring compliance and strategy for Microsoft 365 licensing.
- Investigate and propose strategies to utilize and implement cloud tools and applications based on defined needs and discovery.
- Recommends appropriate Enterprise Content Management solutions based on those requirements (participation in Data Governance/Classification policy development).
- Maintains consistent, quality documentation to meet ongoing operations and business continuity requirements.
- Participate in the development of policies around the proper use of Office 365 services and support.
- Reviews, recommends, and implements service changes to reflect operational needs and changing requirements.
Development and Innovation -
- Leads the process for requirement gathering and developing a roadmap for Office 365 and
SharePoint Online tools to support institutional priorities.
- Develops future strategies for Office 365 products and services and integration with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
- Investigates further implementation of Office 365 and emerging O365 products, leading from a user experience and needs perspective (Including Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, etc.).
- Develops solutions using Microsoft 365 tools to solve or improve business processes and respond to business requirements.
- Builds strong internal relationships across multiple departments to ensure the business units technology needs are being met.
- Present solutions to both IT and college leadership when requested.
- Drives adoption of new capabilities for Office 365 and related tools, services, and systems
- Stays abreast of current and evolving enterprise and collaboration technologies.
