Clinical Therapist

Description:

We're looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic, and client-centred individual to join our company as Clinical Therapist (i.e., Social Worker, Psychotherapist). Reporting to the Clinical Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join a clinical team supporting Canadians mental health needs. Working remotely and alongside national colleagues, we strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment across teams and provinces! At Kii Health, we work together to empower individuals to lead healthier lives by revolutionizing the availability, access, and delivery of mental, physical, and occupational health care.

Objectives of the Role – What You Will Do

Join the Kii Health team as a Clinical Therapist, specializing in psychotherapy services and providing support through short-term virtual counseling. Additionally, you will deliver Therapist-Assisted Internet-Delivered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TAiCBT) as part of our innovative digital health program, also known as Guided CBT. Successful candidates will be available to receive counselling referrals and, on occasion, may partake in other clinical opportunities such as debriefings and educational seminars.

Successful candidates must be enthusiastic, team players, technology driven, have positive attitudes, and possess strong counselling skills.

Deliver protocol-driven TAiCBT via our secure digital platform, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
Build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients through personalized and supportive asynchronous messaging.
Customize treatment plans based on individual client needs and progress.
Promote client engagement and facilitate skill-building by actively supporting their use of the platform’s features and activities.
Document client progress thoroughly and accurately through detailed documentation, including reports for 3rd party providers, as necessary.
Evaluate client outcomes and overall satisfaction to ensure high-quality care.
Participate in weekly case consultations to collaborate with peers and enhance treatment strategies.
Engage in ongoing in-house training to stay current with clinical knowledge and evidence-based practices.
Conduct virtual video sessions for clients as per their treatment plan options.
Provide counselling support under a short-term model: Receive and accept counselling referrals on a timely basis, schedule counselling appointments, enter and submit case notes through a secure online portal; and complete and close cases within a reasonably timeframe.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support company goals and operations.
Contribute to other clinical responsibilities as needed, including but not limited to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and client outreach efforts.
