- Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery or assessed through a Prior Learning Experience Assessment (PLEA) program within a Canadian province.
- Significant management experience in a community setting or a combination of community, hospital, and public health settings.
- Recently applied knowledge of evidence-based midwifery theory, practices, techniques, and risk management acquired through work experience as a Registered Midwife.
- Current registration in good standing as a Registered Midwife with a Canadian regulatory authority.
- Demonstrated ability to meet Yukon Midwifery Licensing requirements.
- Experience researching and developing policies, procedures, and protocols. Experience designing, implementing, managing, and monitoring clinical programs is an asset.
- Demonstrated Northern, remote, or rural experience providing midwifery care is an asset.
