The Client Services and Program Administration within the Department of Agriculture leads a client-centric approach to all external communications and ensures the effective, efficient, consistent, and transparent administration of programs, permits and licences.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Post Secondary degree and/ or certification in public administration, business administration, agricultural sciences, social sciences, or other appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience performing clerical and administrative duties in an office environment, such as data entry, basic accounting transactions, preparing specialized or highly complex documents and processing detailed documentation, manual/electronic file maintenance, and assessing, processing and/or completing applications
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and effectively manage deadlines
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate effective working relationships with colleagues, other departments and a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) or similar software applications.
- Effective written communication skills with experience drafting and editing correspondence or other communications.
- Effective verbal communication skills to clearly and professionally communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience providing exceptional customer service to a diverse clientele by phone, email, and in person.
