Description:
The Corporate & Investor Relations (CIR) department is the corporate face and voice to BCI’s external and internal audiences. CIR functions as the primary interface with our clients and strives to internally represent their specific interests and unique needs. CIR works closely with governing fiduciaries and trustees and, working with our BCI colleagues, assists clients with developing their investment strategies, policies, and objectives.
CIR also develops and implements communication strategies for client, external, and internal audiences; for example, working closely with our asset classes to communicate and explain investment strategies. The team manages media relations and engages with government and industry partners and stakeholders.
BCI relies on CIR to be accountable for:
Supporting stakeholder satisfaction and client retention
Influencing clients’ investment policy decisions
Advocating and representing clients’ and other stakeholders’ interests
Leading corporate messaging and acting as its spokesperson
Managing BCI’s brand and reputation.
