Description:
- Schedule and pre admit patients to Women's Health Centre for therapeutic abortion procedures by obtaining and documenting patient identifying information from physicians’ offices and pre-admit patient.
- Liaise with Provider Physician's offices to ensure the appropriate documentation is provided.
- Prepare, maintain and file health records of patients we have received care though C.A.R.E. Program Special Services.
- Answer inquiries from the public concerning admission policies, fee structures and information about the C.A.R.E. Program, Special Services.
- Maintain a system for ordering patient educational brochures, pamphlets, books and/or videos for WHC Programs by orders and storing materials, and by consulting with WHC staff regarding updates and corrections to patient education materials.
- Perform filing, typing and telephone duties as required.
- Receive appointment cancellations and follow-up as necessary with appropriate parties.
- Book interpreters as requested.
What you bring
- Completion of Grade 12.
- Three (3) year’s recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
