Required Skills
YOU WILL:
- Greet visitors, donors and staff in a friendly, professional and timely manner; following security protocols.
- Accept and receipt donations.
- Processing and scanning of mail.
- Promptly answer telephone calls and respond to emails, providing answers or making referrals to others in the organization; sort incoming mail and attend to incoming and outgoing courier deliveries and shipments.
- Provide clerical support to the Human Resources and Volunteer Engagement team including preparing materials, scheduling meetings and interviews, administration of service awards, inputting data into various systems and preparing letters.
- Assists with ordering and restocking office and kitchen supplies, and liaising with property management to report deficiencies and service requests to building maintenance as needed.
- Assist with monitoring the office workplace management system.
- Assists with the onboarding and off-boarding of new employees.
- Maintain reception area, boardroom, and meeting rooms at a high standard.
- Additional office duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 2 years of reception and/or administrative experience;
- Professional demeanor and superior customer service skills essential;
- Punctuality, impeccable attendance and reliability are a must;
- Proficient in MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Exceptional oral communication skills;
- Organized and detail orientated with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization;
- Able to work independently and in a team environment;
- Ability to constantly re-prioritize work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment; and
- Light lifting will be required.
