This is a Key Requirement for the CIO position of CAC. This position requires an expertise of the Treasure and Shipwreck Recovery, luxury Yachting Industry, Offshore Adventures, Expeditions, Exploration Land and Deep-Sea Submarine Operations. Manage investment of marine aquariums and exhibits, research laboratory facilities, global marine research institutes, scientific funding and research grants. To be build a charter yachting destination industry in Newfoundland & Labrador, has our yachting hub for Newfoundland & Labrador & Northwest Passage Charter Adventures, Submersible Dive Expeditions, Ocean Exploration, Treasure & Shipwreck Recovery, Underwater Film/ Documentary Entertainment- Climate Change/Global Warming Research. To be part of the team that promote Newfoundland & Labrador and The Northwest Passage, at charter destinations within CAC’ s selected charter operations loop into Newfoundland, to Labrador, Northwest Passage, Spain, Canary Islands, Bahamas and Antarctica

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· This position is a senior management position in the Corporation, with responsibility for:
· The CIO holds a successful portfolio building and managing Public Trading Adventure Tourism and Luxury Charter Management Yachting Corporations, for profit or non-profit for a minimum of 10 years, working with Investor Relations (IR) Stakeholders, including networking and building partner relations with 500 Fortune Companies. Managing $100 M -$500 M annual portfolios.
· The CIO would develop business plans and pitch deck presentations for investors, and shareholders, including all levels of government, for the super-rich and ultra-wealthy private luxury expedition yacht, submersible charters, explorations, climate change/global warning, and marine research.
· Responsible for tracking and assessing the effectiveness of investment strategies and projects.
· In charge of examining investment trade area for new investment opportunities.
· The overall management of the business including its overall strategic direction, preparation of agendas and background information for Board meetings and its various Committee meetings.
· The CIO keeps the Board fully informed and advises on long-term strategies based on financial, economic, technological, and competitive factors.
· Have command as CIO and thrive on being a strategy partner and cross-functional operational leader with the CEO/President and executive teams.
· Simplify complex information and communicate with clarity.
· Expertise of investment management in the context of Treasure and Shipwreck Recovery, Luxury Yachting Industry, Offshore Adventures, Expeditions, Exploration Land and Deep-Sea Submarine Operations, marine aquariums and exhibits and research lab facilities, including global marine research institutes and scientific funding research grants.
· Build and oversee a team of staff responsible for investment duties at CAC.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
· Proactively take action to maximize investor and Board support, including future private and/or public fundraising efforts.
· Act in partnership with our executive and legal teams to run a high-ROI back operation.
· Expertise in managing investments in both Private and Public equity for Yachts management which involves balancing various factors, including risk assessment, optimize returns, align with CAC’s and stakeholders’ goals.
· Develop asset allocation strategy that defines the percentage of the portfolio allocated to private and public equity that align with CAC's goals.
· Diversify private and public equity investments across sectors and industries to mitigate risk.
· Develop effective exit strategies for each private equity investment.
· Develop annual investment works plans, operating budgets, including preparing, submitting, and monitoring monthly forecast adjustments, strategies, evaluate opportunities, recommend investments based on trends in financial markets, macroeconomic conditions, including charter demand, resale values, emerging markets, CAC strategy, for the Board approval.
· Seeks out and develops investment opportunities and presents such opportunities to the Board for consideration and decision.
· Create efficient and effective investment process appropriate for investment strategy of CAC.
· In collaboration with CFO (chief financial officer), perform regular appraisals of the health of the investment portfolio, develop a short- and long-term capital allocation plans, and recommend investments to improve the profitability and value of CAC's investment portfolio, also maximize shareholder profits.
· Organize regular investment reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies, summarizing performance, expenses, and investment strategies.
· Overall planning, design and implementation of investment projects and programs within the mandate for the Corporation.
· Monitor and analyze the financial performance of yachts and the overall portfolio, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
· Oversee the acquisition and disposition of yachts, considering market conditions and investment objectives.
· Prepare detailed financial analyses related to investment, including cash flow projections, budgeting, and financial modeling for each yacht.
· Develop and oversee investment policies and procedures of CAC and ensures adherence to the legal guidelines and in house policies to maintain legality and business ethics.
· Evaluate financial plans for new investment opportunities and make a recommendation.
· Attend meetings, review monthly financial statements, and remain up to date with any important valuation or policy changes.
