Certified Storesperson

 

Description:


The Storesperson will be responsible for: providing parts, tools and equipment to users from stores; performing the inventory control functions of receiving, shipping, stock keeping, materials and tools issuing and related clerical duties. Other responsibilities will include: goods handling, preparing documents, records maintenance, housekeeping, inventory control, while ensuring adherence to stores related policies and procedures. Shift work is required.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent;

Provincial certification in Industrial Warehousing, Automotive Parts preferred;

Two or three years related industrial stores experience with working knowledge of inventory controls;

Ability to operate a forklift;

Must be able to identify common electro-mechanical parts and general tools;

Must be capable of using a computer for inventory control; and

Applicants must be bondable.
