Business Finance Associates

 

Description:

  • Development of client relationships and new business opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining a regular sales call program on ‘C’ level executives and key decision makers of businesses, and major corporations to ensure effective management, retention, and expansion of each customer relationship.
  • Identifying, researching and setting up quality meetings with prospects utilizing a conversational approach that uncovers and qualifies new business opportunities, to establish a credit relationship and building a comprehensive data base file for each prospect.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with major small and medium size industrial and commercial companies (prospects) and key business referral sources in the assigned market area.
  • Maintaining a current and thorough knowledge of CFCL's specialized services to effectively promote tailored presentation packages to meet specific customer needs.
  • Contributions to CFCL’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.
  • Business travel upon request.

Qualifications

As our preferred candidate you will have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of business credit products and related policies.
  • Superior skills in financial analysis and risk assessment including proven credit judgment.
  • Awareness of differences in the tax, legal and accounting rules of the various jurisdictions.
  • Ability to plan strategies and activities up to 12 months in advance.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of successful experience managing, leading, selling to, conversing with or prospecting C level contacts at mid-market companies and large companies.
  • Strong understanding of a wide variety of industries and markets which require specialized knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and aggressive sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a strong eloquent value proposition, understand and qualify a client's needs, assess business issues/pain points.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, articulate and creative.
  • Good judgement and excellent decision-making skills.
  • A sense of urgency. Committed to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • General Computer knowledge to effectively use various computer software applications.

Education

  • Ideally possess a University degree in business, finance, economics or 3 -5 years related banking or business experience.
