Description:
President, Business Development will be a senior team member, who will help Lead Business Growth for Digital Services. The position will report to the SVP of Sales, and requires a successful hunter to prospect, qualify and close new business. This is an individual contributor role and does not have any direct reports. A successful candidate will have a recognizable and measurable success track.
Responsibilities
Business Growth
- Lead and support Business Development activities as required, including;
- Creating and maintaining a Sales Funnel via leads generation activities
- Support presales activities, including discovery meetings and presentations
- Proposal leadership and content
- Marketing event participation & materials authoring of content
- Contribute SME expertise in one or more industry verticals, and lead or assist in leading the development of functional capabilities, strategy, and solution selling
- Lead the creation of Service Offers and GTMs (Go-to-Markets) to deliver high-value consultative services to clients, as well as related Sales Packages
- Educate clients, sales staff and managers in our Sales Services activities
- Creation and maintenance of "Value Proposition," proposal templates and statements of works
- Interface with partners such as UST, SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce and others, to build relationships and promote our Brand
Services and Processes
- Customer Relationship management and satisfaction within accounts
- Oversee engagements and undertake senior Consulting roles within projects to protect client engagement and relationships, in a part-time (20% max) billable capacity
- Maintain an update sales opportunities funnel and contacts in our CRM (Hubspot)
- Engage actively in Prodigy Labs leadership and strategy meetings as required
- Contribute to budget forecasting and profitability management
Innovation and Partnership
- Partnership Management for key Technology and Product partners and/or Product Planning leadership
- Contribute to, or be responsible for, the strategy and implementation of new service offerings that advance Prodigy Lab's value to clients, revenue, and profitability
- Contribute to the advancement of the productizing and marketing of intellectual property for repeatable, profitable sales and implementations
People
- Coaching and mentoring applicable staff to aid their development and advancement
- The managing and achievement of required capabilities and training staff to support and deliver the services sold
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years experience successfully selling technology solutions services, preferably to financial services clients (retail/commercial/corporate banking, insurance, wealth management)
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in direct sales with quota of $5M - $10M+
- Experience working in a start-up environment
- Experience working with enterprise clients
- Ability to establish new, effective and long-lasting client relationships, including the ability to start new client conversations
- Proven ability to manage sales to achieve sales goals
- Experience creating and maintaining a Sales Funnel via leads generation activities
- Proven sales leadership originating and closing opportunities
- Client-facing (from deal qualification through close) with the ability to interface and negotiate with senior executives
- Proven ability to earn credibility with technology and business executives
- SME expertise in one or more industry verticals
- Experience working with HubSpot or Similar CRM
- High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness and ability to work well under pressure
- Team player of unquestionable integrity, credibility and character
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong facilitation and communication skills in English, both verbal and written
