Description:
RE/MAX Canada is seeking an experienced, resourceful Business Development Representative, who will be responsible for supporting the franchise sales team and RE/MAX Canada in achieving growth-oriented objectives.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports to Director, Franchise Sales
- Maintain outbound calls to real estate professionals
- Book meetings and presentations for Franchise Sales Director
- Design and implement prospect outreach through eMarketing and social media campaigns
- Assist franchise sales team with early stage sales process
- Utilize franchise sales CRM tools to expand contact base, generate CASL compliant email campaigns, and generate pipeline reports
- Assist in preparation of prospect presentation materials (digital, print, video, etc.)
- Scheduling of prospect presentations and meetings for Director, Franchise Sales
- Work with Contract Administration team as prospects progress through pipeline
- Support onboarding of new franchisees
- Support franchise sales initiatives such as industry events, tradeshows, office openings, etc.
- Research target real estate brokerages, teams, top producing agents and prepare Prospect Profile summary
- Conduct industry and market research as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- College degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years in a sales or sales support role
- Prior experience or knowledge or real estate or franchising is a plus but not required
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Strong organization and time management; ability to prioritize multiple activities concurrently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Able to work with diverse sources of data and information on prospects
- Familiarity with commercial CRM systems such as SalesForce
- Experience in leveraging social media applications to promote interest and engagement
- Ability to conduct research-oriented prospecting
- Comfortable with proactive outreach to prospects and engaging via voice or video conferencing
- Genuine interest in the real estate industry and the RE/MAX value proposition
