Business Development Representative

 

Description:

RE/MAX Canada is seeking an experienced, resourceful Business Development Representative, who will be responsible for supporting the franchise sales team and RE/MAX Canada in achieving growth-oriented objectives.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reports to Director, Franchise Sales
  • Maintain outbound calls to real estate professionals
  • Book meetings and presentations for Franchise Sales Director
  • Design and implement prospect outreach through eMarketing and social media campaigns
  • Assist franchise sales team with early stage sales process
  • Utilize franchise sales CRM tools to expand contact base, generate CASL compliant email campaigns, and generate pipeline reports
  • Assist in preparation of prospect presentation materials (digital, print, video, etc.)
  • Scheduling of prospect presentations and meetings for Director, Franchise Sales
  • Work with Contract Administration team as prospects progress through pipeline
  • Support onboarding of new franchisees
  • Support franchise sales initiatives such as industry events, tradeshows, office openings, etc.
  • Research target real estate brokerages, teams, top producing agents and prepare Prospect Profile summary
  • Conduct industry and market research as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years in a sales or sales support role
  • Prior experience or knowledge or real estate or franchising is a plus but not required

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Strong organization and time management; ability to prioritize multiple activities concurrently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Able to work with diverse sources of data and information on prospects
  • Familiarity with commercial CRM systems such as SalesForce
  • Experience in leveraging social media applications to promote interest and engagement
  • Ability to conduct research-oriented prospecting
  • Comfortable with proactive outreach to prospects and engaging via voice or video conferencing
  • Genuine interest in the real estate industry and the RE/MAX value proposition
