Description:
The Business Development Manager plays a key role in driving the growth of Quietly. The primary focus of the role is to engage prospects and generate new business through identifying qualified prospects' business, strategy and content needs, matching these with the agency’s product and service offerings.
- Drive revenue to meet and exceed set targets
- Prospect and build a pipeline of high quality leads across new and existing target industry verticals
- Proactively assess how prospects measure up against their competition and what they need to do in order to succeed in their category
- Lead high-level conversations with senior stakeholder prospects, identifying and connecting needs to solutions that demonstrate Quietly understands their business
- Develop and support strategic pitch presentations, working with cross-functional teams across strategy, content and delivery, ensuring Quietly is fully equipped with all relevant information prior to each client engagement
- Identify and eloquently recommend Quietly product and service offerings that will provide real business value to prospects, defining strategy, scope, budget, recommended approach, solutions and execution plans
- Tactically follow up new business opportunities through setting up client engagements for yourself and relevant members on the team
- Build, negotiate and close contractual agreements/commercial terms, facilitate pre and post-sales engagement, seeking advice from the COO and Head of Delivery
- Support the development and execution of coordinated business development activities and go-to-market initiatives aimed at generating quality inbound leads (thought leadership, events, webinars, etc.)
- Managing a healthy pipeline through usage of the CRM platform
- Generate and present reports to the leadership team on business development related metrics and activities to secure further investment to enhance Quiety’s positioning in the marketplace
- Proactively assess how Quietly measure up against its competition and advise what the business needs to do in order to be the market leader in its field
- Proactively stay informed of industry trends and be a thought leader on content marketing
What you'll bring
- 2+ years in a B2B Business Development/Sales role ideally with a global agency, consultancy, media owner, adtech and/or martech provider
- Excellent communication, presentation development and execution skills
- Existing relationships with C-Suite/senior level stakeholders, in particular within marketing and communication roles
- High-level of organization
- A passion for storytelling the technology and innovation markets - you follow trends so you can speak about their impact on companies and products
- A proactive self-starter and people person
- Strong team player but can also work independently and autonomously
