Description:
As a Business Development Manager at MDOS Consulting, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and negotiating contracts. You will play a key role in our expansion by leveraging your knowledge of the IT industry and staffing needs to align our services with client requirements. Your efforts will directly contribute to our company's growth and success in the IT staffing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to acquire new clients within the IT sector, focusing on long-term relationship building.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Engage with senior decision-makers through cold calling, networking, and social media platforms to generate new leads and business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals that clearly communicate the value and benefits of our staffing solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements, ensuring they meet client needs and company goals.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure a clear understanding of client requirements and to facilitate the timely placement of candidates.
- Maintain a deep understanding of client business needs, staffing industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and other professional gatherings to promote our company and services.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and performance against targets.
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the IT staffing or services industry.
- Strong understanding of the IT market and staffing requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
