Description:
As an independent contractor, you control where and how you operate to maximize your business development results. While most of our business development success has come from networking and referrals, you can use your preferred strategies. Our internal team, office, tools, and other resources will be available to support your work, including strategy brainstorming and proposal ideation, to ensure success.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business goals. Present our products and services to potential clients and close deals. Create and deliver compelling sales presentations.
- Networking & Lead Generation: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand your network and represent the company. Engage in networking and relationship-building activities to generate leads and business opportunities.
- Proposal Development: Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals. Collaborate with the Account Management team to ensure successful contract handoff for execution.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to developing the company's business development strategy and plans. Collaborate with the leadership team to set achievable targets and KPIs.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or marketing.
- 3+ years of Business Development experience in a marketing agency.
- Proven track record of generating leads and signing new clients.
- Strong knowledge of marketing tools, platforms, and trends.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies and KPIs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail orientated.
