Who are you?

• You have a university degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline
• You have a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in account management, business development, working with early stage to mature companies, and developing company or industry files. **An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered**
• You must be able to demonstrate presentation skills and must be proficient in the use of electronic office software, database and office computer programs
• You have basic financial acumen
• You pride yourself on your attention to detail, organization skills and ability to prioritize deliverables
• You are a highly motivated professional that is passionate about growing NB
• You possess exceptional analytical skills and have demonstrated a strong ability to detect areas of concern and develop innovative business solutions
• You are effective at prioritizing, monitoring and managing multiple client accounts at once
• You enjoy working with others; possess excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills
• You possess well-developed relationship management skills

As a Business Development Executive with the Business Growth team at ONB, you will:

• Report to the Director of Business Growth
• Be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of businesses
• Provide guidance and support to entrepreneurs with expansion, acquisition, consolidation, and development of their businesses
• Develop and manage projects
• Conduct appropriate analysis to determine project viability
• Analyze financial assistance requests
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the region, job market and government organizations
• Liaise with businesses, financial institutions, government departments and agencies
