Description:
As a Mining Engineer Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and advancement of our product solutions within the mining industry. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including mining engineers, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) accounts, and owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand new business opportunities within the mining sector by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including mining engineers, EPC accounts, and owners.
- Take ownership of your role, demonstrating leadership within an autonomous environment while collaborating effectively with a team of highly skilled colleagues.
- Raise awareness of our product's comprehensive range of solutions and drive transformative change within the mining community through a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge base of our product's market solutions and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
- Foster continuous engagement with all stakeholders to establish, convert, and uphold engineering standards relevant to our product offerings.
- Drive business growth by consistently meeting and exceeding set targets and goals as an integral part of our successful sales team.
- Lead the development and execution of small group councils comprising top-level stakeholders, including owners, engineers, and product executives.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive experience within the mining industry, particularly in sales roles targeting mining engineers, EPC accounts, and owners.
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales, including account management, target achievement, and closing complex deals at the engineering and owner levels.
- Proficient in writing and developing design specifications with strong engineering skills tailored to the mining sector.
- Exceptional communication skills with a professional demeanor and appearance, capable of effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs and business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Commerce (BCOM).
- Master's degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or MBA considered advantageous.
