Description:
- Managing all new and upsell activity within the assigned territory
- Developing strategic relationships with key contacts from prospects and/or third-party advisors
- Develop, present and execute on a regional business plan for assigned territory or territories
- Partner actively with Customer Success Managers where appropriate to identify new sources of revenue
- Maintain responsibility for full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to negotiation and close of the sale, with a heavy focus on prospecting
- Participating in campaigns and regional conferences as required
Succeeding as a Senior Business Development Director, Health Solutions will require the following core qualifications and skills:
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Human Resources, Health Sciences, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience, and a proven track record of success in complex B2B sales environments
- Experience in Human Resources, employee health and wellness, disability management or other similar support programs, and the associated technology is preferred
- A high level of motivation, strong presentation skills, an understanding of consultative selling, and the ability to manage the sales cycle effectively and autonomously
- Strong business acumen, and expert negotiation
- Strong interpersonal skills, and solid written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, professional maturity, and the ability to think and act strategically
- Excellent organizational, time management, and collaborative skills that allow you to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Travel within the assigned region(s) will be require
