Description:
The Business Architect (Supply Chain Solutions Implementations) is responsible for the business transformation aspects of each Kinaxis Maestro implementation throughout all the phases of the Customer Excellence journey (Discover, Deliver, Grow).
About the role:
What you will do
- Work with sales during the discovery phase, with implementation team during delivery phase and with account team during grow phase, to articulate the value at each stage with increasing detail leveraging industry templates, and customer blueprints developed for Kinaxis Maestro.
- Focus on solution design and delivery, helps translate the value offer into processes and solution requirements to ensure customers from senior executives to planners buy into the designed solution.
- Lead Customer Blueprint workshops in close collaboration with Solution Architect to understand as-is process and pain points, align future state with industry templates and assess design topics.
- Support Solution Architects with rapid prototyping to define ‘special’ functionalities.
- Help Solution Architects drive customer signoff of Customer Blueprint.
- Help detail out processes documented during Customer Blueprint.
- Lead updates to the Blueprint throughout the release process and any playback sessions.
- Focus on next phase of the journey, future state process and technology direction, and uses existing and proven methodologies.
- Prepare for future implementations leveraging industry templates, customer blueprint methodology, draft user stories and shaping agenda for future solution blueprint.
- Help Client Partners to create statement of works, Customer blueprint schedules, implementation plans and deployment concepts.
- Act as a sounding board and keep track of customer change management plans.
- Develop roadshow materials and support the engagement if in scope.
- Develop collateral and artefacts for Maestro Methodology, Integration Methodology, Rapid Prototyping
What we are looking for
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, demand planning, computer science, information technology or related discipline.
- Strong background in Supply Chain engineering concepts and understanding of statistical forecasting, inventory management, MRP, scheduling, etc.
- Work well in a team environment and have the ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with manufacturing planning solutions such as Kinaxis, SAP, JDA, etc.
- Project management experience.
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field
- Ability to travel 30-40% or more at times.
