Business Architect

Description:

As a Business Architect, your will be a vital member of the project team, collaborating with information technology specialists and stakeholders to ensure that business processes align with organizational needs. You will facilitate complex discussions and meetings with project stakeholders, lead the co-design of innovative solutions and support ongoing operations and system transitions. You will develop the business architecture, align the operational and project solutions within the broader enterprise architecture framework. You will collaborate with internal teams, other federal government departments and agencies (OGDs), external groups and organizations to deliver comprehensive strategies, essential concepts, risk mitigation and business architecture documentation to drive the success of the project and organizational objectives.

What you need to succeed

Education

• Graduation with a degree from a recognized university in information technology, information management, project management, public or business administration, or in any other field relevant to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
• Foreign Credential Validation against Canadian Standards

Experience

• Experience preparing and presenting systems architectures and business processes to groups and business leaders.
• Experience planning, organizing, and managing in high workload situations with tight deadlines.
• Experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
• Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate. or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business.
• Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and using an iterative method and flexible approach to enable rapid delivery.
• Experience in leading a team to deliver a business modernization project.
