Summary and Overview
- Student will be working with the Manager Seniors Central Support, Central Support Services Administrative Lead, as well as the individual administrators of the long-term care homes. The student will be assisting with the workload of our department related to administrative duties.
- A consistent communication focus across all sites as outlined in both the Seniors Services Strategic Directions and the Seniors Services Operational Plan
- Central Support Services work will include (but is not limited to):
- Project assistance
- Administrative duties
- Problem solving
- Reviewing reports and metrics
Qualifications and Skills
- Current enrollment in an approved post-secondary institution Business Program
- Excellent computer skills - MS office, internet searches
- Planning, analytical and problem solving abilities
- Independent worker
- Able to communicate in a professional manner (oral and written)
- Able to meet deadlines
- Able to prioritize work assignments from management staff
- Project Management experience
- Website navigation skills
- Facilitation skills in focus groups and workshops
