Description:
We have a full-time 1-year term opportunity for a Brand Marketing Specialist. This is a key support role that oversees YVR’s marketing portfolio. Working closely with the broader Marketing team, key departments, the Brand Marketing Specialist works to ensure consistency across all touch points of YVR’s brand, and acts as writer, editor, and content creator supporting commercial services and other revenue generating lines of business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supports design, creation, and implementation of commercial marketing content to build awareness and affinity for YVR’s food, beverage, and shopping offers as well as parking and other products, supporting non- aeronautical revenue.
- Develops, creates, and oversees marketing orientation for CMS and provides ongoing support to ensure brand standards are maintained in the terminal, which includes audits and approval of creative requests from CMS partners.
- Supports marketing plans for various YVR initiatives that help drive and support company objectives as well as leads brand marketing projects in alignment with strategic plan and goals.
- Assist with the creation of materials for YVR communications vehicles -internal/external/online/print and social media channels, working with channel owners, this includes liaising with content and communications teams to ensure website content for relevant campaigns and initiatives is current, correct and engaging.
- Leads creation of reports, summaries, speaking notes, briefing documents, Power Point decks, signage, hoarding, and other communication materials.
Key qualifications include:
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, English, Journalism, or a relevant field.
- At least two to three years of experience in a similar marketing role (food, beverage, and retail background is an asset).
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and market research methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns across various channels, as well as communicating decisions effectively to stakeholders.
- Excellent project and relationship management skills, managing multiple priorities concurrently as part of a dynamic team, as well as excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management and organizational skills.
