Brand Managers own their Canadian brands. They create and execute brand operating plans, all commercial programs and manage the delivery of annual business objectives for their Brands. In addition, the Brand Manager provides leadership to cross functional teams to other Sales, Marketing, and Finance Professionals within their applicable sector.

In This Role, You Will
 

  • Drive delivery of Brand business objectives including net sales, operating profit, gross margin & market share.
  • Own the long-range vision and plans for the brand.
  • Lead the development of the 3-year Brand Operating Plan, commercial programs and annual plan delivery.
  • Act as the key marketing contact on cross-functional team interacting regularly with R&D, Product Supply, Business Analysis, Business Planning, and Marketing Research.
  • Own Canadian Brand idea & serve as key contact for all advertising/integrated marketing agency relationships.
  • Provide project and/or marketing leadership on innovation projects relative to Canada.
  • Engage strategic customer teams & sales strategy team to ensure delivery of plan.
  • Consult on the long-term innovation plan for the brand through North American collaboration.
  • Identify and develop relevant consumer and/or shopper insights.
  • Collaborate across relevant brand categories, to identify and proactively drive efficient Brand building.
  • Provide leadership to the Canadian Brand portfolio team.
  • Define strategic category and Brand learning plan needs.
  • Effectively set & manage Brand Advertising, Consumer Promotion and Retail Media.
  • Effectively lead implementation of Innovation Summits & long-term business building sessions with customers.
  • Lead ad hoc projects as required by the business.
