Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster

Description:

Crawford & Company is seeking a Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster (Contract Work) to join our Workforce Advantage team in Ontario, Canada. This role involves investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling auto bodily injury claims via telephone and correspondence.

As part of the Workforce Advantage team, you will be placed on contract-based assignments with our clients. This is a contract position (3-12 months), with a possibility of extension or a permanent role with the client.

The selected candidate will work remotely for other insurance company offices/sites while being an employee of Crawford & Co.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct telephone investigations to assess bodily injury claims.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and settle personal and commercial lines claims.
• Ensure accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of claim files.
• Collaborate with insureds, adjusters, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Provide exceptional customer service while handling claims efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of technical claims handling experience, including 3 years in bodily injury claims.
• Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field.
• Probationary Adjusters Licence required; Full Adjusters Licence and/or CIP Designation preferred.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and other claims management software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
