What will your typical day look like?

The Billing Coordinator provides internal client support for financial tasks essential to the firm's finance department, including preparing invoices, work-in-progress (WIP) management and reporting.

  • Processes a high volume of invoices in accordance with our invoicing policy.
  • Prepares and processes credit notes / invoice cancellations as required.
  • Closes old WIP and responds to WIP inquiries.
  • Identifies billing issues and ensures tax rules are followed.
  • Ensures that billing procedures are followed in accordance with established guidelines and applicable legislation.
  • Brings to the attention of the billing supervisor any requests that do not comply with the firm's billing policy and resolves them with the assistance of the supervisor.

  • Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Intermediate / expert knowledge of invoicing taxes.
  • Willingness and ability to learn other software as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and staff.
