Bilingual Telephone Adjuster

 

Description:

The Bilingual Telephone Adjuster will evaluate minor claims through telephone investigation and negotiate settlements in accordance with provincial licensing restrictions and requirements. They will also be responsible for maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual, French and English is required
  • CIP designation or willing to work towards
  • Ability to be licensed in NB, NS, PEI and NL is an asset
  • Prior technical experience in an insurance claims environment is an asset
  • University Degree or post secondary education in an insurance related program will be considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Office 365 and Windows 10
  • Ability to carry out telephone interviews
  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle first and third party claims
  • Working knowledge of CMS, including maintaining accurate and detailed activity, transaction, and reserve records
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
