Banking Centre Manager

CIBC is building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world and is looking for talented, passionate professionals who are dedicated to doing what’s right for clients. As a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team, you'll lead a high-performing team, helping clients secure their futures, own homes, and set up businesses. This is a temporary (fixed term) position based in Lower Sackville with full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example to deepen client relationships and meet financial needs while providing high standards of service.

  • Advocate CIBC within the community to develop new and existing client relationships.

  • Encourage employees to resolve client complaints quickly and escalate when necessary.

  • Create a culture of teamwork, ensuring clients are served by the best team members to meet their needs.

  • Monitor business performance and implement action plans to close gaps.

  • Provide coaching and support to team members, helping them develop and achieve team goals.

  • Act as an owner, taking initiative to deliver results and improve performance.

Qualifications:

  • Client-first approach, with the ability to find the right solutions for clients.

  • Goal-oriented, driven by accomplishing goals and making a meaningful impact.

  • Passion for people with the ability to develop and coach team members.

  • Certified professional with current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).

  • Additional certifications such as BCO, BME, CPH, WME, or CFP are an asset.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing people and delivering results.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
