Description:
Building & developing holistic omni marketing strategies for specific retailers that translate Unilever Corporate Strategies while aligning with Customers strategic thrusts and objectives. Collaboration & alignment with key stakeholders is crucial (retailers, agencies, as well as internal stakeholders- key account and brand teams). You embrace an agile way of working and can bring insights into action.
Act as the primary interface with our retailers, marketing departments and the agency partners
Identifying key brand objectives for activation at retail and provide funding recommendations
Ability to gather/analyze data to recognize gaps and thus creating new opportunities
Owns planning and execution of strategic customer programs where needed
Lead the annual planning process for OMNI Marketing based on insights and deliver programs with agility leveraging a test and learn approach and iterating based on feedback and data
Works closely with Unilever Digital & Omni Account Team to integrate program elements on the shopper path to purchase
Create concise, compelling and relevant messages by translating insight into selling stories to influence action
Use retailer digital platforms & retail media to covert shoppers to buyers
Target and optimize media to reach target consumers at the right time in their planning and purchase cycle for the category/brand
Budget management ensuring program costs are within assigned budget
Manage the ongoing communication of program performance and budget utilization to key stakeholders across the organization
Actively participate in the Unilever and customer annual joint business planning process
Complete the full path to purchase by converting impressions into buyers
Reporting to a National Omni Shopper Team Lead
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
At least 4 years of relevant experience (Media, Performance Marketing, Marketing, Digital)
Experience working with agency partners
Strong digital/e-Commerce expertise
Strong Media expertise/knowledge
Excellent project/program management skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Strong bias for action with a growth mindset
Strong influencing & selling skills
Ability to contribute, influence and work effectively in a cross-functional matrix organization
Self-starter, independent thinker, action oriented, and passionate about marketing
