Associate, Private Capital

Description:

Reporting to the Executive Director, Private Capital coverage, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following core responsibilities:

• Work closely with team, traders, RMG, risk, Corporate Banking and Investment Banking to develop appropriate solutions and timely execution of transactions

• Determine and provide product / rate information to our clients in a timely manner with exemplary service

• Support broad client coverage effort by developing presentations, modelling transactions and creating / maintaining associated client coverage databases and information sources

• Monitor/track and analyze market activities, economic factors, on an ongoing basis throughout the day to be in a position to respond to client requests

• On your own initiative, develop product knowledge through directed or self-directed study. Be prepared to cross train when the appropriate time arises, as suggested by management. Share any developed skills, knowledge, ideas with management and other members of the Corporate Solutions Group. Attend learning sessions held by the Trading Room as required

Who You Are

• Minimum 3 years related experience; MBA, CFA or other relevant professional designation preferred

• Experience with interest rate derivatives, financial statement analysis, funding/debt management

• CSC and CPH considered an asset

• Proven track record of results

• Strong overall knowledge of Capital Markets with sufficient knowledge of the financial services industry / regulatory environment

• Excellent analytical and intellectual capabilities; ability to draft comprehensive presentations using advanced frameworks in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
