Description:
The Customer Manager negotiates with the customer to achieve the company's 5P strategies for all of Colgate's brands/categories and deliver annual sales/share targets within spending parameters. Drives superior business results through Internal/external relationship building, solid analytics, program evaluation, and development and delivery of business plans.
Main Responsabilities
- Work independently to develop, negotiate and implement Customer Business Plan to achieve Financial and 5P Objectives for all of Colgate's brands/categories, and deliver annual sales/share targets
- Develop the relationship across the customer's organization and build customer intelligence as it relates to Colgate's Financial and 5P Objectives. Develop a thorough understanding of customer strategies, business plans, practices and process in order to optimize business results
- Bring to life key business strategies that will enhance the position of our brands to consumers. Deliver sales targets within investment guidelines and alignment with brand strategy.
- Utilize efficiently available Category Management Tools (eg. Nielsen Desktop) and Customer data portal to understand consumption and shipment data to identify brand/category performance trends and opportunities
- Build up your own assumption to plan the full-year business and leverage Atlas to reflect the plan with Financials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as the Customer Development, Retail Marketing and Supply Chain functions to build business opportunities and ensure planning accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years consumer goods industry experience
- Experience in developing strategies and plans to respond to shoppers/customer trends delivering against the commercial goals
- Proficient skills in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google tools, ACN's Workstation Plus and Atlas
- Contract and customer negotiation training considered an asset
