The Team You’ll Work With

The Associate Accountant will assist the accounting team on a wide range of duties, specifically on our international entities. We currently process payroll, month-end, and local filings for Canada, Australia, India, and Singapore - and we hope to keep expanding!

The Problems You’ll Solve

This role will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the entry of semi-monthly and monthly payrolls (currently for Canada, Australia, Singapore, and India)
• Updating employee records, liaising with the People Team to ensure accuracy
• Reconciling general ledger accounts and bank statements on a monthly basis
• Creating and keying monthly journal entries in Netsuite, including inter-company entries
• Assisting internal and external teams with the completion of statutory filings across multiple countries, liaising with third party accounting firms as needed.
• Submitting vendor payments for processing and performing vendor reconciliations
• Collecting and summarizing details for local filings such as GST and HST reports
• Maintaining Accounts Receivable / Collections and cash applications for our India entity
