Asset Integrity Inspection Technologist

Description:

• Supervise, perform and/or coordinate pressure equipment, pressure piping, pressure relief devices and above ground storage tanks inspections and integrity assessments.

• Assign appropriate inspection plans and strategies and work with Planning and Scheduling for execution.

• Maintain, optimize, and report on the facility asset integrity programs including pressure equipment, pressure piping, pressure relief devices, above ground storage tanks and pipelines.

• Sustainment of Risk Based Integrity Management (RBIM) implementations at both Hardisty and Lloydminster Terminals and further improve aboveground piping inspections and integrity assessments of the Lease Automatic Custody Transfer (LACT) and junctions.

• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations and Maintenance teams on development of processes and procedures that support improvements in areas related to Asset Integrity, Quality and Compliance.

• Responsible for adhering to monthly budget and providing accruals.

• Support the development of annual and long-range planning and budgeting.

• Develop overpressure protection device integrity and production optimization strategies based upon maintenance and inspection history.

• Routine and turnaround integrity visual inspection and non-destructive examinations planning, scheduling and execution

• Develop repair and alteration procedures and review engineering work packages for material selection, weld procedure acceptance, specification and regulatory compliance and application of asset integrity principles and inspection strategies.

• Assist with the implementation, integration and sustainment of Cenovus Integrity Management program(s) including, Pressure Equipment Integrity Management (PEIM) program, Risk-Based Integrity Management (RBIM) Program, Storage Integrity Management (SIM) program, Pipeline Integrity Management (PIM) program and Facility Integrity Management Program (FIMP). Execute defined responsibilities within each of Cenovus' relative programs and liaison with the respective regulatory body as the Owner's Inspector.
