Artistic Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate a passion for the arts and creativity through different mediums and encouraging our guests to engage in their creative side

Positively greet guests as they enter the studio

Foster a welcoming environment, ensuring guests feel welcome, comfortable and confident with their chosen medium

Regularly maintain studio cleanliness and re-merchandise the studio as needed to ensure safety and comfort of all guests and employees

Answer the phone in a professional manner

Process sales accurately for retail and classes through the Point-of-Sale system

Proficiency in cash procedures and cashing out

Work with other artists that utilize the studio for classes and to sell their local art

Gather content for social media posts and advertising

Be a continuous ambassador for Maple Seed Collective in local opportunities and activities

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in retail and customer service roles preferred. Art studio experience is a bonus

Experience working with diverse groups of people

Professional, fun and friendly personality, with the ability to build enthusiasm with guests under pressure and in routine situations

Neat, tidy and well organized with the ability to multitask

Experience and good understanding of a Point-of-Sale system

Strong literacy and communication skills required

Hard-working, efficient staff member who pays close attention to detail
