As a summer student with the Civil Resolution Tribunal (CRT), you will gain practical experience in administrative law by supporting legal research, policy development, and tribunal processes. Your work may involve analyzing legislation, assisting counsel in judicial reviews, and developing plain language resources to improve access to justice. The CRT is committed to equity, diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, and students may have opportunities to contribute to initiatives that enhance accessibility and fairness in the tribunal’s processes.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations – status or non-status, Métis, or Inuit), and
  • Be enrolled in a post-secondary law program at the time of applying for this position and will have completed at least the first year of this program by May 2025.

Proviso/willingness statements:

  • Be willing to live in BC for the duration of this position.
